Please allow an opportunity to be anonymous as a button toggle particularly if a person is logged in
I’m not sure i got it. Where is there? :)
Right now, when anonymous posting is enabled in the board settings, authenticated users can’t submit posts and comments as “Anonymous” – end-users are either logged-in or not. If I understood Victoria correctly, the idea is to give logged-in users the option to post something anonymously (e.g., by selecting a checkbox)
@alex fixed for clarity
@Daniel Stefanovic exactly - the idea is to give logged-in users the option to post something anonymously (e.g., by selecting a checkbox)
We have the same use-case for a company-internal board. We would like to keep this board secret and only allow users authenticated via SSO to access it. These authenticated users should however be able to use it as described on https://nolt.io/features
end-users can vote and contribute to your feedback board without revealing their identity
I suggest renaming the current “Allow anonymous actions” toggle to “Allow unauthenticated actions” and creating a new, second “Allow anonymous actions” toggle.
Anonymous actions should be possible on anything that the user has access to as a member. For voting, any signed in user should only be able to cast a single vote (no matter if anonymous or not).
