Moderate suggestions / Approval required for new ideas#118

In order to increase engagement on our feedback page, using webhooks, we just started

Today, one day after this release, one user submitted two duplicate ideas that were more of a customer support question rather than an idea.

This means that our users received two useless notifications (at least we’re not sending emails for this case).

This can be prevented if new ideas need to be approved by one of the admins first before they get published. This will also allow us to edit poorly written ideas.

Just noticed this. Firing a webhook on status change would also work.

What a great use case for webhooks! Firing a webhook call when a status is changed is definitely easier to implement.

I have the same problem. Many of my users post duplicate, poorly written suggestions or even completely off-topic messages. A manual validation (with the possibility to edit the post) would be welcome. 😀

It would also be nice to be able to inform the user of the reason in case one of his suggestions is not accepted.

This is important - there is a big risk of having people spam the board unless we can approve suggestions before they are made public. Definitely a high-priority feature!

Very necessary. It would be a beautiful advance for our company.

Please enhance the webhooks to have approve,disapprove and any other new funcutionalitiy that you are going to introduce to your platform.
