📋 Overview

Plenty of feedback never touches your board: it arrives in support tickets, sales calls, and email. Vote on behalf lets your team register that demand against the right post, in the customer's name, so votes reflect what people actually want.

✨ What's new

Add a vote from the Voters list: Open a post and click its Voters row (or the vote count) to see who has voted. Team members get a new field at the top: Vote on behalf of a user.... Pick an existing user, or type an email address.
New users are created for you: If the email doesn't belong to a Nolt account yet, one is created, and the vote is recorded against it.
They're kept in the loop: The customer receives an email letting them know you voted on their behalf, and they're subscribed to the post so they hear when it moves forward.
Available in the API: Vote on behalf is also part of the public GraphQL API, so you can wire it into your help desk or CRM.

🚀 Where to find it

Open the post and click the Voters row.
Type the customer's email (or name) into Vote on behalf of a user... and confirm.
That's it. The vote is added, and the customer is notified.

Adding voters by email is available on paid boards (Essential, Pro, and Enterprise). During a trial, you can add named voters without an email.
