📋 Overview

Custom fields have always described posts. User attributes let your team describe people too: capture things like plan, company size, role, or region on each user, and then slice your feedback by those attributes. Two votes from enterprise customers are not the same as two votes from free-trial users, and now you can tell them apart.

✨ What's new

Attributes on profiles: Open any user's profile (click their name or avatar anywhere on the board) and you'll find a new About tab. Board admins can create Text, Select, and Multi-Select attributes there and fill them in per user.
Team-only by default: Attributes are internal: admins can edit them, and moderators can view them. They are not shown to regular members.
Organise them your way: Drag attributes to reorder, rename them, give Select options colours, and convert an attribute's type when your needs change.
Filter by user attributes: Advanced search gains a User attributes section, so you can pull up every request from, say, customers on the Enterprise plan. The same filter is available in the Kanban view's filter panel.
Edit SSO profiles: For boards using single sign-on, admins can now open Edit profile on a user and update their display name and bio directly.

🚀 Where to find it

Click a user's name or avatar to open their profile, then open the About tab.
Click + Add user attribute, pick a type, and name it. Set values for the user right there.
Open search (or the Kanban filter) and expand User attributes to filter posts by them.
