📋 Overview

Nolt now speaks the Model Context Protocol. Connect an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT to your account, and you can ask it to find duplicate requests, summarise what customers are saying about a topic, move posts through statuses, tag them, or draft a changelog entry, all against your live boards and with your permissions.

✨ What's new

One URL to connect: The server lives at https://nolt.io/mcp and is listed in the public MCP registry as io.nolt/nolt.
Sign in with OAuth: Assistants connect through a standard OAuth flow. A consent screen shows exactly what access is being requested before you approve, and only pre-approved client apps can connect.
A full toolbox: Tools cover boards (details, activity, moderation queue), posts (create, update, status, assign, vote, subscribe, custom field values), comments, statuses, custom fields and options, user attributes, team roles, search across posts, comments, changelogs and users, and changelogs (create, update, convert a post into one).
Structured, safe results: Tools return structured data your assistant can reason over, and anything destructive is flagged so assistants ask before deleting.
Fair-use limits: Per-user request and concurrency limits keep one busy assistant from slowing anyone else down.
Works with ChatGPT connectors: Nolt is verified for OpenAI's connector directory, so it shows up where you'd expect.

🚀 Where to find it

In your assistant, add a new MCP server or connector and enter https://nolt.io/mcp.
Sign in with your Nolt account and approve the consent screen.
Start asking. Everything the assistant does is scoped to the boards you can already access.

This is an early release, and we're adding tools steadily, so tell us what you'd like your assistant to be able to do.
