📋 Overview

Some requests are really several smaller pieces of work. Checklist is a new custom field type that lets you break a post down into items and tick them off as you go, right on the post and without leaving Nolt. It joins Select, Multi-Select, and Text as a field type you can choose.

✨ What's new

Inline checkboxes: Up to three items show directly on the post with checkboxes that save the moment you tick them.
Progress at a glance: A progress bar on the field row shows how many items are done out of the total.
Room to grow: Longer lists tuck extra items behind a "Show more" dropdown, and Add an item lets you append new ones inline.
Manage items: Reorder with drag and drop, rename inline, or delete items from the manage dropdown.
Hide checked items: A per-field setting that keeps finished items out of the inline view while leaving them in the dropdown for reference.
Works like any other field: Checklists can be Internal (team only) or public, shown in the post list, and even pre-filled via URL.
Task lists in Markdown: Separately, Markdown task lists now render as real checkboxes in post descriptions and comments.

🚀 Where to find it

Open any post. In the sidebar, board admins will see + Add field.
Choose Checklist from the type picker and give the field a name. You can also switch an existing field by opening its menu → Type → Checklist.
Add items with Add an item, then tick them off as work lands. The field appears on every post on the board.
