Allowing users to post something with the exact same post title should be turned off. It just bloats the whope system

Absolutely.
I would actually go a little further.
I think matching with a Case-Insensitive, “trimmed” Fuzzy Search Algorithm that would also block Slightly Different Posts would further Enhance that Feature.

Since that can cause undesired Issues for Some Projects, it should be a Menu Setting:

Block Duplicates:

• None
• Exact Duplicates
• Similar Titles

On selecting Similar Titles, a Slider Appears to Change Sensitivity ~ with a Live-Preview below that shows How Much the Title needs to Differ in order to be Accepted.

The Benefit of this Approach is that the Granularity can be adjusted Anytime Later and will Only Apply to New Posts.

But it can ALSO be Used to Find Existing Duplicates!
