It would be very helpful to have a dedicated “comment block” that can be placed anywhere on a page.
This block would allow users to leave comments and tag people (e.g. @name), similar to regular comments.
The goal is to make collaboration easier for people who are not familiar with Notion. When sharing a page with clients or collaborators, they often don’t know where they can leave feedback.
With a visible comment block on the page, you could clearly indicate: “Leave your feedback here.”
This would make collaboration much more intuitive, especially when working with clients.
I’m confused. Would you still have the suggestion button, and then have a seperate comments spot?

Good question!
I would keep the existing comments and suggestion features exactly as they are. Those work well when people already know how Notion works.
The idea of the comment block is mainly for external collaborators (for example clients) who are not familiar with Notion. They often don’t know where they can leave feedback or how comments work.
A visible comment block on the page would simply act as a clear place that says: “Leave your feedback here.”
So the regular comment system would still exist, but the block would make collaboration easier and more intuitive for non-Notion users.

This feedback board is for Nolt, not Notion!

Oh, that explains it! I was actually trying to submit a feature request for Notion and was directed here, so I assumed it was the right place. I’ll look for the correct place to submit it. Thanks for letting me know.
