Hide Nolt Branding#79

Can there be a way for paid users to hide the “We run on nolt” branding in the board description area?

While I would very much want to see this happen, Nolt is a growing platform which is still attracting people. I believe that once Nolt becomes bigger and more recognized across the internet this would be a very viable suggestion. Until then I’m against it, as I’ve stated before - we should be supporting the growth of the platform until such time when it doesn’t need it.

We have already removed all prominent Nolt brandings from the suggestion boards. The only one that is left is the one inside the list menu at the bottom – and it’s only visible when you’re not an admin of that board. As expected, the CTR dropped when we removed the more prominent “Powered by Nolt” footer. For now, we can live with that.

The “Powered by” marketing channel is cheap – really cheap. Having that means we don’t have to spend (that much) money on marketing, which also means we can keep Nolt affordable.
