Auto-Closing Posts#597

There must be an option to automatically lock posts that have not received any replies or are very old suggestions after a set period of time. Implementing this feature is essential to prevent spammers and bots from necroposting in outdated discussions that have already been resolved.

Anything completed or archived should auto-lock.

Oops I meant lock, not close.

@CT-337 That could be an optional feature.
But for many products this would eliminate the possibility for users to ask questions or add info regarding the topic afterwards.

Maybe a setting that auto-locks completed posts.

Automatic post locking is now available. Posts with no activity after a set period can be locked automatically. You can configure this under Board Settings → Advanced feedback board preferences → Enable post auto-lock.
