Profile picture gifs#589

My profile picture is supposed to be a gif but seems to just be a plain image on the first frame. Can gifs be made accessible for profile pictures?

Yep that’d be great.
While you’re at it: please add support for animated PNG & WebP as well (and other relevant animated formats in case I forgot some).

Also (I didn’t check) please don’t use JPEG for any kind of pictures!
Best current options are PNG, WebP & AVIF.
