Use Nolt for bug reporting#568

Currently, we can’t use Nolt to report bugs because all the users can see all the posts.

For security, a bug reporter should see only his own bugs.

We have a solution for this! Currently in testing/QA - should go live within the next week or two.

Will do! Sorry for the delay on this - there are a few important edge cases we are working on (ensuring these stay out of search results, and handling merges for private posts). Will push to production asap.

@Amit from Nolt - When do you think this feature will be pushed to prod? Please e-mail me also when this is avaiable for prod.

For any status or custom field (of single or multi select type), you can toggle-on “Make private” (see screenshot) which will automatically mark new posts with that status or custom field as private.

A few important points to keep in mind:

• Once enabled, this only affects new posts and newly updated posts (when the tags are updated).
• Once disabled, new posts and newly updated posts (with the relevant status or custom field) will no longer be marked private automatically. However, previous posts which were marked private will remain private.
• You can override this by manually marking-public posts which were automatically marked private. However, if/when you update the tags, this rule will run again and mark the post private.
