No comments or admin only comments#362

We’d like to completley block the ability to comment on posts OR have comments visible only to admins

Thank you for your suggestion! Would you mind telling me a bit about your use-case and why this is important to you?

We are a SaaS company that has many merchants who then have users. We offer white labeling to our merchants. A user may provide feedback that was meant for the merchant and not the software including providing information that is confidential. Likewise merchants often use our current feedback email to ask about certain data or business logic that they wish to keep confidential. We have non disclosure agreements with over half of our merchant base. We’d like to allow them to comment privately or block comments altogether for these reasons.

Is there any plan to implement this? We’d love to use Nolt but allowing users to comment on features prevents us from doing so!

This is actually available already! See “Disable member comments” under Advanced preferences in your board settings.
