Abillity to search by "no status"#348

The status labels give a lot of flexibility in managing suggestions.

Can we have the ability to find suggestions that have no status label?

Hi Marvin. Thanks a lot for your suggestion! Can you tell me a bit more about your use case?

The aim is to keep our suggestions list more organised.

We’re using the concept of no status label, to mean that we haven’t reviewed the suggestion.

Being able to list suggestions with no status label, means we can identify the suggestions that haven’t had a first review. In that review, we can then decide whether to archive, plan, or simmer that suggestion.

Got it. Thank you for your detailed answer!

We changed to managing Nolt via a Google spreadsheet (via regular exports from Nolt), so this has become less important.

I think this is a much needed feature, simply because Nolt allows not setting a status at all. Most tools I know require all items to have an initial state but in Nolt you can use no state to signal that an item has not yet been taken into consideration and will also not show up on the roadmap. This is fine but this way “no status” can be considered to be a status as well and needs to be searchable.
Obviously new items will show up on top and are easily locatable but if you’re importing a large number of items using a CSV file you have a hard time locating items that you have not yet reviewed.
If you look at your list on a regular basis and give new items a status such as “New” or “Reviewed” this is less of an issue but then the items show up on your roadmap even though you have no intention of working on them.
