I had an instance pop up today where we seem to have been botted on one of my posts, resulting in me having to single-handedly ban almost 100 bots.
A feature that would help combat these bots would be a welcome addition, (i.e. Captcha on account creation.)
In addition to a CAPTCHA, a feature to mass purge/ban users would be nice to help keep boards tidy from unwanted bots.
Thanks in advance. The sooner this could be done, the better. Mainly because I don’t want my board constantly being flooded by someone who can just make a ton of bots without any kind of barricade to dissuade them from doing that.
Thanks for sharing your experience and ideas. This is definitely something we will look into to better defend Nolt boards from all manner of unwanted content and behavior.
On a similar topic, I returned from holiday to find that a user (likely a bot) had created 10+ new junk suggestions. Probably using a different method of script injection syntax in each one.
Anyway, because it happened more than 10 days ago, I didn’t have the option to remove ALL posts associated with this user, only those made in the past 7 days, which was zero.
This would be great to bring to the platform.
